Established in 1997 and managed by ever-friendly British managers, The Sportsman is one of Pattaya’s most popular hostelries. Designed in the traditional English pub style – with the addition of air conditioning for comfort – it offers excellent food (with service until 1.30am) and a great choice of local and imported ice-cold beers, including Guinness, Strongbow, Newcastle Brown, Victoria Beer, San Miguel and a lot more besides. As well as weekly fun events such as the Thursday night general knowledge quiz and Sunday pool competition, the pub offers a fantastic carvery every Wednesday and Sunday (12.30pm-9pm), which has often been voted the best in town. And, not surprisingly with such a name, The Sportsman is also a great place to catch all your favourite sporting events from around the world, which it shows on its impressive 50” plasma screen TV. It is also home to the Sportsman Golf Society and serves as a booking office for Five Star Visa Runs.
